Iditarod Restart 2015
On the day of the event, schools will remain open as usual and the district is partnering with the borough to encourage school field trips, as appropriate to grade level and content area.
Due to the location of the event, school bus routes near Broadmoor Avenue and Dale Road that serve West Valley High, University Park Elementary, and Ryan Middle will be impacted by the activities and alternative pick-up and drop-off points will be scheduled for that day. Information from First Student regarding the alternative stops is posted below and will be distributed to students on affected buses this week. Traffic near Watershed Charter will also be impacted and more information will be available shortly.
